WEST 12TH STREET
This apartment is in a 1963 modernist structure in the heart of the Village. The clients were a young couple with a baby who were looking for a functional, clean-lined, comfortable, yet stylish apartment. We used the history and architecture of the building as inspiration–muted tones with lots of texture, custom upholstery, and vintage furnishings from the 50s and 60s for touches of glamour throughout.
